Child and Adolescent Psychology

Abaris Behavioral Health (ABH) child and adolescent psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists are hand selected so that we, as a team, are able to offer a broad spectrum of specialties that serve, work with and offer guidance for children and adolescents from birth through age 18.

Child and Adolescent PsychologyOur experience is vast and wide ranging across specialty areas.  We understand that life presents challenges and struggles at various points in development, often needed skills or strategies and supports are unavailable, causing those life demands to be overwhelming.  As these deficits/challenges are identified, necessary skills/strategies/supports are also identified. These targeted skills they can be taught in a way that fits with the child or adolescent’s learning style and overall functioning significantly improves.  At Abaris Behavioral Health, as therapists, educators, and parents, we understand that every individual is unique, with a unique set of strengths and challenges, and we choose personalized treatment strategies that best fit the individual need and situation.

Child and Adolescent Psychology

We provide full clinical services in myriad of areas: intake diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning; psychological testing and evaluation; individual, family, and group psychotherapy; and consultations to other health professionals, educators, and social service providers to make sure our patients are getting the most attentive, full spectrum care possible.

 

At Abaris Behavioral Health we provide a best practice, client centered approach utilizing currentresearch, evidence-based guidelines, expert consensus, and published practice guidelines. Our staff is caring, professional, and welcoming.  Our state of the art offices and care allow us to serve Southeastern Michigan in the following areas: Novi, Rochester and Shelby Township, Michigan.
